It (birth experience) was a life-changing experience that showed me another side of God’s love, power, and faithfulness. Labor was hard, but God delivered my baby without pushing 1 single time!

When the going got tough, especially doing a spontaneous and natural labor, our doula reminded me to breathe, trust God, and rest in His peace, which helped me as I delivered my beautiful baby boy. Her being there throughout my labor and delivery process was a depiction of God sending His soldier to fight on my behalf and interceding for me, which I will forever be grateful for. I thank God so much for our doula and for this ministry. I pray that every woman and every couple experience this ministry in their childbearing process.

With everything being new and consistent input from other medical professionals, doula support in the moment helped ground us and keep us rooted in our faith and plans. Without our Doula, I think we may have felt more pressure to make decisions out of fear or defaulting to strictly medical advice.

Our Doula, was incredible. When she walked in the room, my contractions had already begun and were quickening, so most of that time, my eyes were closed — but I just knew when she entered the room. She joined my husband in prayer and reminded me of all I had learned in her group during the worst of my contractions, and it brought us all great comfort. Who knew that it was possible to relax at such a time? She did, and she helped me to do just what I thought I knew was impossible to do at the most impossible time. Breathing techniques, body relaxation, prayer, and focus. All because the Lord sent her.

My experience with my doula really was life-changing. Although she was not at the hospital when I delivered, her spiritual support covered me throughout my pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum. My faith was increased, and I felt a sense of peace and confidence going into labor. She taught me about God's redemptive power, and I experienced it for myself when I delivered naturally.
Having a doula present for one birth and virtually for the recent one allowed me to relax and focus on praying and listening to the Lord about what to do. Knowing the doulas were praying and listening for the Lord's commands, as well, reassured me that all would go well.

About Me
Founder and Visionary
My purpose and mission are to provide compassionate, faith-based doula care rooted in an understanding of physiological childbirth and to train birth workers and nurses on doula care. As an experienced labor and delivery nurse, I see my work as a kingdom nurse doula as a calling to help families see birth as a natural, God-given event. I'm dedicated to families in their unique journey to parenthood. I enjoy this approach, which emphasizes the harmony of faith and the art of gentle birthing, grounded in a biblical worldview of childbearing, and courageous enough to welcome medical care when needed. I am truly blessed to serve as a Nurse Doula.
